Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.
Each week they will post a new Top Ten list that one of their bloggers over at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join.
The topic for this week is: Top Ten Books That Will Make You Swoon
Thinking about what makes me swoon in a book – it’s when characters have a certain something special about them. So I’m changing it up. My list is going to be books with characters who make me swoon (also – I think I need to stop using the word swoon as it’s making me a little crazy).
So here we go. Here are ten books which I consider to have perfectly swoon-worthy leading men! (Clicking the book title will take you to the book’s page on goodreads.)
Anna and the French Kiss also made it to my list – I mean, ETIENNE, right? All the rest I haven’t included – some of them are books I really should read, lol. Funny you have The Sky is Everywhere – a lot of people also have it on their ‘books that make you cry’ list and it just did nothing for me.
Great list, though! You can see mine here: http://theloonyteenwriter.wordpress.com/2014/02/11/top-ten-tuesday-books-that-will-make-you-swoon/
I like that people have such different reactions to the same book. It makes everything more interesting. I think when I read The Sky is Everywhere that I was just in that frame of mind where everything about it clicked for me. But I can see why others would feel little towards it.
Thanks for visiting! π
Unearthly, Cinder, Throne of Glass… awesome picks! Unearthly is on my list this week as well!

I couldn’t not put the Lunar Chronicles after reading Cress last week. I swear – each time I read a new instalment I fall way back in love with everyone! π
Tucker, yes! Isaiah, yes! Lucas, yes! Haha, so many amazing guys! Love it all.
Great list!

So many swoonworthy guys and not enough time to list them all! Thanks for visiting π
We have one book the same this week! The Sky is Everywhere. I’m reading Anna And The French Kiss really soon and I’m so intrigued. Everyone seems to love it! Which is great! π Fantastic list.
I have to say that I judged Anna and the French Kiss on it’s cover. And I shouldn’t have. It’s a lovely contemporary set in Paris (squee!) but it’s a bit deeper and not just the fluffy scenario the cover may suggest. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
I am so with you on Etienne, Isaiah, and Joe Fontaine!!! LOVE Joe Fontaine! Lucas sounds like a book boyfriend of the future for me… as soon as I read Easy π
My TTT
I really enjoyed Easy – and I wasn’t sure I would. I’m not a huge fan of New Adult but the characters and writing in Easy impressed me. And Yay! How awesome is Joe Fontaine? I swear… I could put The Sky is Everywhere on every TTT π
I’m wondering if there is even one person who is NOT team Chaol! π But he is clearly the better choice and with so many people loving him I’m not afraid of reading the next book in the series. I usually don’t like love triangles but with this one I’m okay and I’m not afraid that she will end up with the ‘wrong’ guy π
I agree – I like that it’s not a true love triangle in terms of she is clearly not confused and she’s not stringing the other person along for whatever reason. I’m so excited for the next book! And I’m glad to meet a fellow Chaol fan! π
Why haven’t I read any of these yet? I don’t understand! I’ve heard amazing things about the majority of them, though, so I know I really need to. Just… why must there be so many books?!?!
Too many books and not enough time to read them all! I have to admit this is a common thought I have when reading others lists. So many books that sound amazing and I just haven;t gotten around to reading them!
Oh, I know. My to read shelf on Goodreads has a couple hundred more books than my read shelf (which isn’t complete since some books I can’t remember for sure if I read them…), and even then I try to only add the first book in a series rather than the whole series, so I know it could be a lot bigger than it currently is!
I think I’m closer to a thousand… whoops! And that’s only having the book I’m up to in series. But I think it’s great that we are spoilt for choice. Better having more books I want to read and not enough time that too much time and nothing to read! π
Oh, yes, absolutely! And thankfully it’s a bit easier now to choose from some of them thanks to reviews on Goodreads and blogs – even if it means sometimes my TBR list goes up a great deal more than I expected.
I just read Easy last week. Great choice!
Thanks π and thanks for visiting my blog π
I’m a huge fan of Bloodlines, Easy, Cinder (Scarlet’s my favorite), and Crash Into You (although I prefer Dare You To in that series). Gahh, I still have to read Anna and the French Kiss. SOON, I swear. π
Great list!
I was a fan of Dare You to too, It’s a great series. Can’t wait for the next book to come out. And I recommend Anna and the French Kiss – it’s so much better than the cover makes it look!
This was such a tough week, so hard to keep it to just 10 (and I had to keep it to 5 because I have a co-blogger). Love love love St. Clair, Lucas, Finn, Adrian, Dimitri, Joe, Chaol, Kerrick… and sadly, none of them were on my list. But I completely agree with you!!
Just too many lovely leading men and not enough time to list them all! Thanks for stopping by π
Crash Into You, Cinder, Bloodlines, and Vampire Academy!!!! YAY! Great choices! I’ve had Easy on my TBR list for FOREVER! I need to make that a priority!

I really enjoyed Easy – more than I thought I would. I’m not usually a huge fan of New Adult but it was one that really appealed. Hope you enjoy it if you get around to reading it π
YES to Anna! And Throne of Glass. So swoony. π I REALLY need to read Easy. That has popped up a few times. Thanks for visiting my TTT!
