Six for Sunday: Bookfest Haul

Happy Sunday!

I mentioned I was going to go to the Lifeline Bookfest this weekend and as usual – I came home with quite a haul. But surprisingly this time I walked away with no fiction books. I love going to Bookfest and seeing what they have on offer. And it’s always amazing when you run into people you know. I saw Chiara from Delicate Eternity looking for some YA books. The Gold Coast event probably isn’t as good as the Brisbane one if YA is what you’re specifically looking for. The YA books are snuck into the adult fiction or the children’s books and you really have to search if you really want books from this classification.

I’m not sure if you can tell but I’m rather into sewing at the moment 😛 These books should keep me occupied for a long time and I’m already excited about making a shift dress from the Dressmaking book.

Bought all these books for less than $20!

I think that’s all I have to say about this weekend.

I’ve had a rather relaxing time mostly just doing some chores and wrestling the washing machine into submission. It’s a little demoralising when clothes go in cleaner than they come out. I think it may have won this round but I will defeat it and my clothes will be clean damn it!

How is everyone’s Sunday going? Bought any good books this week? Read anything you would like to recommend? What’s next on your to-read list? Feel free to leave me a comment 😀
