You know that Abby Abernathy unexpectedly became Mrs. Maddox. But what do you really know?

Why did Abby pop the question?
What secrets were shared before the ceremony?
Where did they spend their wedding night?
Who else knew about it . . . and didn’t tell?

Everything about Abby and Travis’s elopement was top-secret . . . until now. Fans of Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster will get all of their questions answered in this whirlwind tale of the wedding day (and night!)—and as with all good stories, this one will definitely have been worth the wait.

“The only thing I’m afraid of is a life without you, Pigeon.”

Abby Abernathy and Travis Maddox had a hard time of it in the Beautiful novels (Beautiful Disaster & Walking Disaster). But somehow they managed to get it all worked out and be together. A Beautiful Wedding is the novella chronicling their impromptu Vegas nuptials.

It’s cute. I may have had my misgivings about the two in the past but this novella is such a sweet story. The point of view switched between Abby and Travis and by the end I really felt like they had earned their relationship. One of the best things about this story is the characters haven’t forgotten pertinent events from their books. They are both feeling the effects of the fire. Getting married may seem absolutely crazy – which it is. But they are both in love and when it comes down to it they are both getting married for the right reason – although I’m not sure “Elvis impersonator” and “Classy” are two concepts which go together…

I recommend this book for fans of Abby and Travis’ story – but also for people like me who weren’t overly convinced of their relationship. Getting to read both of their thoughts as well as just how they made it from Illinois to Las Vegas, Nevada was lovely. Full of sweet moments as well as some rather hot scenes too, this novella is the perfect ending to Abby and Travis’ story.

  1. The two novels in the series actually pissed me off quite a bit. There was so much miscommunication and annoyingness. I’m really excited about this one though! I’m ready for a proper happy ending. 😀
