Top Ten Tuesday: Books on my Spring 2016 TBR

It’s Tuesday! And that means it’s time to participate in the meme created by Broke and Bookish where bloggers share their top ten based on a given topic.

Today’s Topic is: Books On My Fall TBR List

Essentially books I want to read before December comes.

I pretty much want to read all the books all the time. So this topic is perfect for me 😀

  1. Magnus Chase and the Hammer of Thor by Rick Riordan (Book 2 in the Magnus Chase series)

Magnus Chase and the Hammer of Thor

  2. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them The Original Screenplay by JK Rowling (comes out on my birthday. Double the reason to celebrate!)

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay

  3. Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff (Book 2 in the Illuminae Files)

    Gemina (The Illuminae Files, #2)

  4. The Black Key by Amy Ewing (The Third book in the Lone City series)

The Black Key (The Lone City, #3)

  5. Beautiful by Christina Lauren (When it comes to adult romantic comedy books which border on sex-fests… Christina Lauren is my go-to author duo).

    Beautiful (Beautiful Bastard, #5)

  6. Holding Up the Universe by Jennifer Niven (because anyone who read All the Bright Places knows just what an incredible storyteller Jennifer Niven is. That book broke my heart in all the best kinds of ways).

    Holding Up the Universe

  7. The Twelve Days of Dash and Lily by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan (Because the only thing better than Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares is twelve whole days of it!)

The Twelve Days of Dash and Lily

  8. Heartless by Marissa Meyer

    Heartless

  9. A Million Worlds With You by Claudia Gray (The book I’m most looking forward to. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series and I’m anxious in both a horrified what if it all goes wrong! and also a it’s going to be soo good! kind of way. I’m so inarticulate…

A Million Worlds with You (Firebird, #3)

  10. The Diabolic by SJ Kincaid

    The Diabolic

The chances of me reading all these books before the end of the season are so slim but I’m excited for all of these soon to be released books! 😀

I have copies of two of them already – so I shall definitely get to those!

Which books are you most excited to read this Spring?

  1. Great picks! I’m also really looking forward to The Black Key and Heartless! I need to read Beautiful Secret – but it is also definitely a series I enjoy 🙂 Happy reading

  2. Ah so many good books! Heartless and Holding Up The Universe are on my list as well! And I really want to start the Firebird series, Magnus Chase and Illuminae soon. I’ve been wanting to try a Christina Lauren book sometime as well!

    • Chances are I won’t actually read Beautiful until forever. I have a bad habit of forgetting about Christina Lauren book releases (they just write too much. Not that I’m complaining!) and then having a bit of a binge read when there are a few to read back to back!

    • I think the last in any series is always a little bittersweet. So happy to read it. So sad that once it’s over – there’s never anymore. Unless the author decides to write more for some reason (like the Selection by Kiera Cass). We could get lucky and have a spinoff with the Firebird trilogy? 😀

    • I think I do too. I just love the Lunar Chronicles so much that I’m expecting great things. But I think that because I don’t love Alice in Wonderland (Like… I don’t like it at all) I should be okay because in my mind – an adaptation on that classic story will only be an improvement! Thanks for visiting Chrissi!

    • It’s the third in a trilogy. Dystopian. Girls with magic used as surrogates for the wealthy who can’t have children of their own. One of the surrogates joins the rebellion to bring the elite down. You know – with the exception of the baby-makers, it’s fairly standard YA dystopian stuff 😛 The cover is pretty. I like the covers for each of the books so far.

And I’m also very excited about Heartless. I absolutely adore Marissa Meyer’s writing! 😀

  3. Fun list! I’ve seen “Dash and Lily” around and it looks really cute. Also, I need to read Amy Ewing’s series. It seems like the type of book I’d really enjoy so here’s to hoping. 🙂

Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland, Kate. 🙂

  4. If only we COULD read all the books all the time . . . What a glorious dream come true that would be! I loved your list, Kate. I’m excited about Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them too. I can’t wait to see the movie. Heartless sounds so good. That’s one I am really curious about as well. I hope you have a great rest of the week, Kate!

  5. I can’t freaking wait for Gemina, Magnus Chase and the Hammer of Thor, Heartless and The Black Key! Hopefully, neither of these sequels will disappoint us. Happy reading! 🙂

  6. You know, now with the movie coming out soon, I am more and more curious about Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. Maybe I should read that? But anyways, I’m also very excited for Heartless, Gemina, and Holding Up the Universe! I haven’t really looked into The Diabolic, but I have heard some really good things about it so far!

Hope you get to all these books Kate! 😀

  7. Oh I hadn’t seen that version of the cover of The Hammer of Thor. Kind of creepy compared to the other one.

I’m still going back and forth on whether or not I am interested in Diabolic

  8. I had Illuminae on my list and I just finished it and WOW! so that means I need to get to Gemina ASAP. I also need to read the first Magnus Chase book because I love Riordan and I am soooooo behind. Happy reading this spring 🙂
