Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’d Buy in a Second…

It’s Tuesday! And that means it’s time to participate in the meme created by Broke and Bookish where bloggers share their top ten based on a given topic.

Today’s Topic is: Ten Books You’d Buy Right This Second If Someone Handed You A Fully Loaded Gift Card

Just ten? I have a THOUSAND that I’d buy.

Not counting books like first editions of my favourite classics and extremely rare books, here are my top ten books I’d buy in a heartbeat if I didn’t have to pay rent, buy food, etc…

  • Winter by Marissa Meyer
  • Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by JK Rowling (Okay. I can remove this one from the list. I wrote the list before I bought this one. Went out on release day morning and bought a copy before tackling all the other Sunday morning chores!)
  • The Glittering Court by Richelle Mead
  • Poison or Protect by Gail Carriger
  • PS I Like You by Kasie West
  • Prudence by Gail Carriger
  • Night Broken by Patricia Briggs
  • The Bourbon Kings by JR Ward
  • Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
  • Arcana Rising by Kresley Cole.

There’s my list for the week. What books would you buy if you had a fully loaded gift card? 🙂

  1. I need Winter and Arcana Rising as well! Expect that I need all of the Lunar Chronicles in hardback since I only have ebooks of them. I also need the last Arcana book as well. They are such amazing series. I hoep you enjoy all your books 🙂

  2. So many good boooooks.
You definitely need Winter! It was such a good conclusion to the series and the hardback is glorious.
I’d also want Ps I like You and The Glittering court. PS I Like You seems cutesy and The Glittering Court sounds… well it sounds amazing.
    Great Picks!
    =D

  3. Definitely ‘PS I Like You’ and ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ (you’ll have to let us know how you get on with that one now you actually have a copy!); what an awesome list honey! I love these choices.

  4. Illuminae was good, and I’ve heard Carriger’s books are good as well. And as a relative newbie to urban fantasy I’ve been wanting to try Patricia Briggs’ stuff- one of these days. 🙂

  5. “P.S. I Like You” just arrived in my mailbox. Excited to read it. Also, I was gifted “Winter” a couple months back so now I have NO excuse NOT to read this series. 😉
