Top Ten Tuesday: Favourite Book Spines

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.

Each week they will post a new Top Ten list that one of their bloggers over at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join.

This week’s topic is: Top Ten Book Covers of Books You’ve Read

buttt….. I did a topic very similar to this when I posted my favourite book covers a few weeks ago. So I’m mixing things up a bit and posting my favourite book spines of books I own. Looking at my bookshelves I see so many fantastic book spines every day – I see them more often than I see the actual covers.

Here are some of my favourites.

Book Spines

Slated (Slated #1) and Fractured (Slated #2) both by Teri Terry

So that’s my TTT for this week. How fantastic are book spines?! Are there any that you adore that I’ve missed? Any that you agree on. Feel free to comment – I love hearing from everyone.

  1. I haven’t heard of ‘Shadows’ before, thanks for the notice. 🙂 My hardback of the Diviners looks nothing like yours – your copy os so much prettier!

    • Shadows is by an Australian author – and I love pushing aussie books onto people! I thought it was interesting when she said that when she started writing the book she never intended for it to be able angels… but somehow they just perfectly fit into the book she was creaeting.

I’ve seen the US cover for the Diviners… I’m glad that mine is the Aussie version. It’s gorgeous! Thanks for visiting.

  2. These are all pretty gorgeous – especially the book spines! Nice spin on the topic. And agreed that The Diviners is really beautiful. Thanks for sharing these 🙂

    • I’ve not read the Scorpio Races yet. I’ve heard such amazing things that I’m excited to get started. I think it’ll be the one I read next. Thanks for visiting!

    • I think series nearly always look fantastic together on the shelf when they have the same type of covers. Slated and Fractured look amazing! Thanks for stopping by.

  3. Do you know ISBN for the Diviners by Libba Bray? I ask since I click the link it took me to the paperback edition, not the hardback and can’t seem to find it on Goodreads. I really want the hardback! Thanks! If not can you check in the book, please?
