Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing Me

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.

Each week they will post a new Top Ten list that one of their bloggers over at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join.

This week’s topic is: Top Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing Me

Dear Santa

My first Dear Santa letter in a VERY long time.

I’ve been pretty good lately… and trying not to buy too many books – instead been buying other people books as their Christmas Gifts (Yes… brother of mine is getting seven Matthew Reilly books, other family members are getting cookbooks and friends are receiving some of my favourite 2012 reads. The store attendant looked at me strangely when I bought 5 copies of Cinder…)

But even though I’ve been trying not to buy for myself I do have a list of books I’d love to receive myself.

Books I’d love to be able to start the series.

The Fallen (Nine Lives of Chloe King #1) by Celia Thomson

Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin #1) by R.L. LaFevers

The Selection (The Selection #1) by Kiera Cass

Everneath (Everneath #1) by Brodi Ashton

Poison Study (Study #1) by Maria V. Snyder

Series I love and would love to continue reading.

Opal (Lux #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout (This one is sort of cheating because I preordered it a while ago and am now just waiting… waiting… waiting not so patiently)

The Magician (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel #2) by Michael Scott

Torn (Trylle #2) by Amanda Hocking (I have the third book on my shelves but somehow managed to miss getting Torn)

Blood Storm (Lharmell #2) by Rhiannon Hart

Invincible (Chronicles of Nick #2) by Sherrilyn Kenyon

OTHER:

I love a good romance novel set in a snowy climate during the Christmas season (it’s so hot and humid here that it feels like a sauna whenever I go outside! Books with snow and other cold weather festivities feel nearly as good as a holiday… ) – so if Santa wants to gift some my way I’d be much appreciative 😀

I hope everyone has a very happy holidays and their Christmas Stockings are full of books 😀

    • I remember reading your review for it a while ago. I keep pushing it up my to-read list but it keeps getting bumped back down… I’m thinking I need to make it a priority and if Santa doesn’t bring it then I may have to buy it for myself. Self gifts are acceptable I’m sure /shifty

  1. Opal is like TOP TOP TOP priority and I too preordered the Kindle version yesterday for only $4.79! Say what?! I would’ve paid $10 for it for sure! So that one didn’t make my Santa list only because I couldn’t wait that long to read it.

    • If I was smart I would have ordered the kindle version… I do love the instant wireless delivery… but sadly I will be camped outside the letterbox waiting on the mail man 😛

      Thanks for visiting 🙂

  2. Nine LIves of Chloe King was a book I read when I was quite young -13 yrs old and I am always excited to see people reading it again bc of the tv show. Great choices! I also wanted to shout out to QLD!!!! I studied abroad there in 2011 and it was the best experience ever, loved it, miss it 🙂 Brisvegas<33

  3. Can I be your Secret Santa and send you Invincible: The Chronicles of Nick? I won the hardcover from a blog contest and have not read it. I have so many other books to read I’d rather pass it on. here’s my email: stephsco at gmail. I’m a new follower to your blog!
